My journey with photography began back in 2015, when a friend in college introduced me to the art form. Long before that, I would spend hours in the public library, captivated by the powerful imagery in National Geographic. Those images sparked something in me—a fascination with storytelling through visuals.
Since then, I’ve trained my eye to see the world from unique perspectives, using photography as a way to help others tell their stories. That passion still drives me today, inspiring me to create meaningful, authentic images that reflect the heart of each moment.

My Goal in photography
Nathan Lau Photography is dedicated to taking as many photos and memories as I can, and that includes you, the reader. Photography has been a hobby of mine for a very long time, and I want to share what I see with the world.
A wedding is one of the most meaningful milestones in life, and capturing those special moments shouldn't have to come at a high cost—especially in today’s climate of rising living expenses. At Nathan Lau Photography, I'm proud to offer affordable wedding photography packages tailored for couples across the North-West Coast of Tasmania.
I currently service areas between Burnie and Devonport, including surrounding towns, and am committed to delivering genuine, heartfelt images that reflect the joy and love of your big day. While I’m not yet traveling to Stanley or Smithton, I’m exploring the possibility of expanding my service area in the near future.
